this machine cools 3 rooms for me. too soon to report about money savings but i also bought the haier 6,000 (which i also love) but this norpole cools a large area.

This is a heavy unit. Needed help to install because it is so heavy. Programmable speeds ad temperatures are very versatile. Unit cools a large area very quickly.

Have had our unit for 5 summers. It copes beautifully with our 46+ degree heat. We rarely use the heating as we prefer the open fire. The unit has been trouble free which is great for us as we live in an isolated area.
