The Bose Lifestyle 38 home entertainment system plays favourites - yours. It can store up to 200 CDs and then it remembers what you like best and automatically serves up those tracks for playback.

Bose Lifestyle 38 Home Theater System Review and Prices

The Bose Lifestyle 38 is the perfect home theater system for someone who enjoys music as much as they enjoy movies, provided they have a rather large budget.

Your problem with loading comes from trying to load too much too quickly. It is best to turn the system off and load your cd, it takes only a few minutes. With only the storage action in use it stores more quickly/.

I the lifestyle 38 is not all what it's hyped up to be. If I had know then what I know now I would have gone a different route. I've had better surround sound from much cheaper systems the rear system speakers are distorted and please don't get me...

Very compact sytem

Very expensive system, and very expensive for add on devices such as the price for the AL8 over $350.00 just for the reciever and transmitter even the HDMI cable is over priced

I really like the compact size and looks of the system. The sound quality is very good with great separation, however the sub-woofer is a little weak

Great sound and modern looks with plenty of music storage

Weak sub-woofer and push type speaker wire connectors

Love it, and have no regrets, despite the price tag.

Excellent home theatre sound. We've twice caught ourselves thinking "it must be pouring outside", only to find out it was background sound to the movie ; Haven't had any problems with uMusic, and love that hearing a variety of tunes no longer involves...

Price. Yeah...it's costly. Also, although uMusic hasn't caused any problems, it has an uncanny knack of picking the songs I least like off of the loaded CDs, resulting in a "-" rating, and the system sometimes deciding I don't like the entire CD

"Not worth the price"

The uMusic option is buggy and hangs often when uploading CD's, requiring a complete power down and restart. My system has developed various problems over the course of the 2 months it's been installed - the rear surround speakers have developed...

Decent sound and relatively easy setup. Aesthetically pleasing

No in-home service available, buggy software, too expensive
