Canon MV960

 

The camera is very easy to use, straight out of the box. The addition functions are all easy to select. The real bonus is the ability to use the DV-In to transfer old HI8/VHS recordings ontp the camcorder and then transfer them to a PC using the DV-Out.

So far I haven't any real bad points. Although I suspect that the picture quality will suffer in low light conditions, but I was aware of the possibilty that this was the case when I bought the camera. The digital camera option doesn't seem to produce...

Because of its size, price and extra features I consider the MV960 to be a good choice for an entry level camera.

For an entry level camcorder the Canon MV960 has some extras that other brands of camera don't include such as real widescreen recording, 25x optical zoom and in camera converting of analog video. Video captured in daylight is very good and sound is...

Low light video suffers from excess noise and the front mounted video light does not seem to help much. Because of its small size it seems to need a very steady hand in order to avoid the "shakes" in your video.
