Not bad...

 

I am used to paying way more for a video camera but I needed one ASAP. This camera is not bad at all, but lacks tons of features included in $400-$600 dollar cameras. It does deserve 5 stars though because of the price and how it's able to get the job...

Great Camcorder for cost

 

It has great optical zoom and the battery lasts for over 1 hour. It comes with a remote and USB Cable in the box. It IS VISTA compatible. I like the fact that you can record in widescreen so it looks better on newer widescreen HD TVs.

The camera function on the camcorder is terrible. It is only 1 mega pixel and I have seen cell phones that take better quality photos.

Compact, great quality

The ZR950 has no audio inputs so one must rely on the microphone built in. Also if it shaken slightly the DV can be destroyed
