DJI Osmo Mobile 2 review: the Steadicam for the SnapChat generation

A great product gets even better – and a whole lot cheaper too

AI-powered tracking ; New portrait mode

Orientation change is manual ; No mid-record flipping

DJI Osmo Mobile 3 review: Stellar smartphone stabilisation

The third-gen mobile phone gimbal brings back the trigger control, introduces a folding design, and more, for the best optically stabilised footage.

Compact foldable design is great ; Active tracking works well (most of the time) ; Controls are easy to use ; Affordable price point ; Easy access to ports

Sometimes lost track of objects in tracking mode ; Not the most exciting finish means it doesn't look great ; Tripod mount doesn't fit in the case

DJI gets a lot right with its third-gen smartphone gimbal, taking what it's learned from the first- and second-generation models, and by-and-large perfecting it in the third. It's fully-featured, versatile, easy-to-use and is very affordable.

DJI Osmo Action review

Out GoProing GoPro

Rocksteady stabilisation is excellent ; Great for vlogging ; Respectable battery life

Delayed on-screen preview ; Terrible app reliability ; Limited accessory rang

Despite a couple of quirks, the Osmo Action’s great video quality, rich design and RockSteady stabilisation - which seems to defy the laws of physics - make it a stellar action cam

DJI Osmo Action review: Stabilise your footage without a gimbal

DJI's latest product is one of its first not to include its trademark physical gimbal, but don't expect shaky footage.

Rugged and durable design ; Compact design ; Two screens make shooting yourself much easier ; Stabilisation is fantastic

Still image quality needs improvement ; No autofocus

It might not sell billions, but for the DJI user who wants to stay in the ecosystem, the Osmo Action might just be the extra camera that enhances their creativity and lets them add another angle to their footage without having to have a finger in both...

DJI Osmo Mobile 2 review: Superb stabilisation

If you're looking to capture incredibly smooth footage from your smartphone then the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 will certainly give you the results you want.

Super-smooth stabilisation in multiple modes ; Improved hardware controls ; Long battery life ; Also charges your phone

You can't flip orientation mid recording ; No microphone mount this time ; Micro-USB recharge rather than USB-C

If you're looking to capture incredibly smooth footage from your smartphone then the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 will certainly give you the results you want. And then some.

DJI improves its phone stabiliser by making it fold in half, and the Osmo Mobile 3 is superb. Here's our review.

DJI Osmo+ Gimbal Camera Video Review

The Osmo Plus is a gimbal camera offering stabilised video quality to your productions. We used two at CES 2017 for 'run and gun' video making and...

Excellent 4K images in good lighting ; Light weight and easy to use in 'run & gun' shooting ; Audio input for external mic ; Good battery life which can be extended successfully for long shoots

Low light is a challenge ; No audio monitoring or headphone connection ; Full rig setup can be unwieldy ; Can lose Wi-Fi connection on busy show floors

There is no such thing as the perfect all round video camera and, like every other device out there, the DJI Osmo+ is a tool to use for certain productions where you want a certain look, or ease of use given the event you are covering. As a consumer...

DJI Osmo Mobile 3 review: Budget blockbuster

DJI's third-generation Osmo Mobile is better, easier, and even cheaper than its predecessors. If you shoot a lot of video on your phone, it's the best accessory you can add to improve the quality of your handheld footage, although it may not offer...

DJI Osmo Action review: A worthy GoPro rival

DJI's first action camera comes out fighting, with a price and feature set that should grab GoPro's attention. Neat features like a small front display and HDR video set it apart, and compatibility with its rival's accessories will make the transition...

Front-facing display ; HDR video ; Excellent image stabilization

No GPS ; Limited advanced resolution modes ; Basic social and editing features

And sure, there's a lot that's similar to the Hero 7 Black -- but that's to be expected. GoPro has been in the action camera game for years, its formula clearly works and DJI was wise to not try and be radically different. That said, it did need to...
