You can't compare this camera to a model costing $400 or more, in quality or features, but in it's price range it works well. For $229 it would have been overpriced, but for $89 it's a good deal if you need 1 or more low cost near HD quality cameras....

Hi all, I've been using the JVC GZ-E10B HD Everio Camcorder for two weeks. It performs all it's duties well. The standard 700mAh battery lasts 50mins to 1 hr max. I got a bonus 1400mAh battery free from Harvey Norman and this lasts up to 2hours max....

I haven't tested the whole functions for the product, but the first look is good. It's little and light, perfect to put in a purse.

Impressed by the quality of the recorded video for the price of the camcorder. Easy to use, not many bells and whistles but I don't need any. Just want good looking videos of family and friends.

I was very disappointed with this order. It said it usually ships in 1 to 2 days. Days later, it did not. When I contacted the merchant, I was told that it was shipped, and was given a tracking number. It actually did not ship for another 2 days....
