Panasonic - NV-GS120

These days a £700 camcorder is quite a luxury, as you can get a very competent entry-level model with a decent list of features for less than £500, but the Panasonic NV-GS120 offers you plenty for ...

If you're in the market for a quality £500 single-CCD camcorder, then you'd be very short-sighted not to give this triple-CCD model serious consideration. It's a little heavier and more bulky than its baby brothers, but the superb image quality will...

Panasonic PV-GS120

Compact and easy to use. Good video quality. Still-image burst mode and 1.2MP still-image resolution.

Mediocre still-image quality. FireWire cable not provided.

This three-CCD camcorder with a Leica lens costs under $700 and provides good, color-accurate video. It's small, easy to use, and worth the price.

The less expensive version of the PV-GS200, Panasonic's PV-GS120 is a 3CCD camcorder as well, but is stripped down. The GS120 has several features that make it a good value, notably the same imager as the PV-GS200. It does includes less effective...

Panasonic PV-GS120 Camcorder Review - Panasonic MiniDV Camcorders

Panasonic's PV-GS120 is the less expensive version of the PV-GS200, a sub $1,000 3CCD consumer camcorder. The PV-GS120 is a 3CCD camcorder as well, just a striped down, fewer frills version. The GS120 replaces last years GS70. It's always a good thing...

Panasonic NV-GS120

If the CCD is the brain of a digital video camera it is logical that three should be better than one. A single CCD has to deal with all colours together while a 3-CCD system divides the primary red, green and blue (RGB) colours to individual CCDs to...

The NV-GS120 uses the standard Mini DV tape as opposed to DVD media, but also comes equipped with an 8MB SD memory card slot for still pictures. You can copy video between the tape and the card and the same in reverse with still images, though when it...

Terrible

The camera itself is ok I guess, jsut didn't do what we bought it for. Takes too long to download to computer with cables, and we've never been able to use that function anyway. Panasonic have very poor customer service. If I can help it I won't be...

Sharp picture

After 6 months of use decided to download to computer, but firewire connection wouldn't work. Panasonic blamed us for it a refused to cover under warranty even though we followed the instructions and they have no proof.
