Panasonic HDC-SD10 review

The HDC-TM10's little brother is cheaper but still a strong contender

Gloriously lightweight ; Surprisingly versatile ; iA mode is great

Doesn't like fast panning ; Only £30 cheaper than TM10

Twinned with the Panasonic HDC-TM10, the only way to tell these two HD camcorders apart is that the HDC-TM10 features 8GB of extra flash memory alongside its SD/SDHC slot. With only a £30 difference in pricing (at least on Amazon's UK store), the...

Panasonic HDC-SD10 review

There is a dilemma, if you bought the TM10 instead of this (for around £25-30 more) you would get the same camera but with 8GB of internal memory or you could buy the SD10 without the internal memory but with the savings go out and buy a larger memory...

Panasonic HDC-SD10 Video Camera

The SD-10 is targeted towards the casual user that will have the camera on auto mode pretty much all the time.

The SD-10 is targeted towards the casual user who wants to record decent quality videos without really getting in the details and manually adjusting settings. From that aspect, its a decent camera and at a retail price of AED 2399/- makes it a good...

Light, simple to use - if you you just want a cool straightforward HD camera this is the one.

When windy microphone picks up the noise. Need to get a new computer to be able to view, edit and burn the videos smoothly.

Full of features. Very light. Excellent picture quality. Focussing seems faultless - not one out of focus shot. Best with the higher capacity battery - which I got from internet. Small enough to carry anywhere. HD software is very useful and enables...

With so many features it takes some learning. A bit awkward to hold with the hand strap. Touch screen inevitably needs regular cleaning. Otherwise great.

Ease of use & set up. Great HD footage play back.

Battery life which comes with camcorder not very long, would reccommend getting bigger battery for longer life!

Panasonic HDC-SD10

The camera is so light. And it is so small it is so easy to take with you. The quality of the videos is great, and the camera snap shot option is pretty good too. I am really pleased with this. And for a camera of this quality for under three hundred...

You don't get a case with it. And to work out all the special features etc is a bit confusing. Also when uploading on to a Mac you have to put the videos on iVideo which always takes ages to load.
