I purchased this video camera on Ebay in March of this year. When I first turned it on, it seemed fine. After about 5 minutes of use, it turned itself off for no reason. When i tried to hook it up to my VCR, the audio was hard to hear and the video...

Worked ok for one day.

Great camera for the moderate user

 

I've had this camera for a couple of years, and for someone with no kids, that doesn't really have a lot of use for the latest technology and all the "bells and whistles" - this is the product.

Best Base Model

 

I am really impressed w/ my new Sony handycam 517. I looked at nearly every other brand available within the same price range. The quality of the JVC was really no comparison. The Cannon was awkward to hold, my girlfriend couldn't ever reach the zoom...
