Sony DCR-HC62E review

 

MiniDV camcorders dominated the market for many years, so Sony has had ample time to tweak its designs. Because of this it's not surprising that the DCR-HC62E is compact, simple to use and comfortable to hold.

Light and fairly easy to operate.

I have spent hours and a lot of money trying to download from the tape but nothing has worked. Sony support have made suggestions to help but nothing has worked and I believe Sony should have been responsible for having the camera examined and repaired...

Easy to use with good menu.. Can record back onto cassette after editing

MUST HAVE A FIRE-WIRE CONNECTION!!!! I did not so had to have one fitted but even then have not managed to upload filming onto computer successfully (probably down to me). Screen reflective in high sunlight
