nice but hard to stabilize

nice but hard to stabilize...The video quality is nice, but I find it hard to stabilize the camera via handheld and the video can be jittery which can get annoying...also can be hard to use the zoom one handed. I find this camera needs frequent use of...

good picture quality, records up to 1080/60p, nice features, compact size, fast power up, auto lens protector, gps, nice lcd screen

hard to stabilize leads to jittery video, hard to use one handed due to compact size, only one video format AVCHD, poor still pictures, no viewfind

I am not a video expert but i think this is a great buy for the money and I would reccomend that you buy it.

This camera is easy to use and for the money takes very good videos. We use this camera to record high school football games. lighting is good and the zoom is excelent. Good size memory. Hold 4hrs on HD.

Not Bad for the Features

My tried and true Sony DCR-SR200 finally died, so I needed a new camcorder for a friend's wedding.

That 55x Zoom sure comes in handy

No shutter speed

I purchased this camcorder to make videos of golf swings. This camcorder is ill suited for that purpose. You can not select the shutter speed for the shooting mode so the club is very blurry on the downswing. This is frustrating since in the Sony's...

Hot Camera

Easy to use, image quality is outstanding in both video and still mode. Frame capture from a video offers exceptional image quality. The anti shake software built into the camcorder virtually gets rid of the need for a tripod. The sound quality is also...

Lightweight, great anti shake no need for a tripod

Included software too slow to create a disc

Great image, Way too small

When it became clear that this camcorder was unusable for me, I went to get a refund. When I had looked at the item it said "Return Policy: Standard Return Policy". When I went to return it one day after it had arrived, it said "No Refund Available" on...

Great HD image quality, good auto adjust functionality

Too small for large hands, touch doesn't work with large fingers, menu system is counterintuitive.

Solid.

Haven't had this camera for too long but from what I've seen it is good for most purposes. The smooth slow record is really handy for action sports, and for once the HDMI cable were included!

Smooth Slow Records, lightweight, HDMI cable included

No filter threads

Purchase which available

Technically good but not photographer's choice. No view finder for outdoor shooting, no thread for lens filter or hood, unreliable lens shutter for long term use,no hot shoe for flash, no separate battery charger. Its a feather-weight camera difficult...

Clinically standard

Non-standard photographer's item
