Easy to use and handle. Liked the fact that it switched on with the opening of the screen. It seemed not to pick up so much of the irritiating wind noise that my previous camcorder did.

Neck strap attachment.

A good camera that performs well but what lets it down is the software that accompanies it. The editing software is abysmally poor which spoils the whole experience

Easy to use in point and shoot mode which is the main reason for buying the camcorder. The build quality is excellent which is the major reason for purcahsing Sony.

Product Specifications

This camcorder is light, compact and easy to use with superb video and still image quality. It features Full HD recording on internal hard disk drive, plus 5.1 surround sound, Face Detection and Smile Shutter. Surround sound adds an extra dimension of realism to your videos, just like at the cinema. 5.1-channel recording captures crisp, lifelike audio that sounds great on your home theater system. Best of all, you don't need extra microphones or cables: everything's built in to the camcorder. Faces can look dark and underexposed in bright, backlit situations like a sun-drenched beach. And if you're shooting indoors there's a risk your subject's skin tone can look unnaturally colored. The camcorder fine-tunes focus, exposure and skin tone for more natural looking faces.
