Great Brewing Hardware, Terrible Pot Design

I would get this unit again, IF the pot spout is redesigned to avoid dripping and drooling all over the place. It is so bad, that I have considered replacing this perfectly good unit.

The design of this unit is excellent. I love the front-loading tray for water and grounds. Everything just works, couldn't be better, as far as the unit goes

The spout design on the coffee pot is terrible. Every single cup of coffee poured wastes about another 3rd of a cup on the floor. Absolutely terrible design flaw. This clearly wasn't tested in an office environment

We Love it

Waited a month before writing this review. Everything works great. I have no drip problems at all as some reviewers have mentioned ; Great deal great price. We love the swing out design so we do not have to pull the brewer out from under the cabinet ;...

Very minor points for us ; 1. Coffee is hot, but not quite as hot as from our Bunn. We add creamer anyway so we still have to put our cups in the microwave for a few seconds. No big deal for us ; 2. New taste and smell at first, but that goes away...

there is a easy work around but requires some mechanical ability and power tools. For example take a rotary tool like a, Dremel and gently contour the end of the spout. Problem mitigated.

This is an amendment to a previous review! The over all design, function, brew - taken as a whole is excellent for the price. I'm ordering another one!! Please read the rest of the review. 5 eggs only for price point

The only issue that I can see that is note worthy and a major ---design flaw--- is the pour spout. The carafe spout needs to be re designed. Submitting a warranty claim on this product will not help ; They will most likely send you the same carafe...

Good machine

Be best to set the time in the morning or at midnight. Because the clock setting starts at 0:00 AM. Timer or start brew setting starts at 6:00 AM. If you do go over the time needed just unplug and start over.

Their Design is well thought out. Coffee filter is great. Need need to stock up on paper filters. You can use paper filters, if you are that worried about the smallest grains going through ; Comes with a chlorine filter if you use water from the tap ;...

Their clock setting leaves little to be desired. 24 hour clock no 12 hour option for AM/PM. No way to reverse if you go over the current time or desired timer setting
