Destiny 2

Destiny 2 features a stellar, albeit easy, single-player campaign, excellent combat and the most enjoyable cooperative multiplayer I've seen in a shooter

Great solo campaign ; Strong and addictive multiplayer ; Absolutely gorgeous ; Plenty of content

Takes away your time ; Loot system could use some tweaks

Destiny 2 is one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played this year, and tackles one of the biggest issues with the first game. Featuring a stellar, albeit easy, single-player campaign, excellent combat and class mechanics, and the most enjoyable...

‘Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris’ review

Full of repetition, "Curse of Osiris" feels like a step back for "Destiny 2."

Interesting new gear ; Cool setting ; New Crucible maps and Strikes add variety ; Story adds a fun new character, some good moments

New gameplay is repetitive ; Story goes nowhere ; The Infinite Forest is a missed opportunity ; Not much to do in new level ; Some new weapon quests feel like busywork

The world of Destiny 2 suffers every time its great ideas fail to deliver on their promise. We’ll see if things are improved in days and weeks to come by new additions like the new “Raid Lair” mode, which launches Friday. For now, Curse of Osiris feels...

‘Destiny 2’ review

Smarter and more streamlined, “Destiny 2” is the version of “Destiny” fans have been waiting for.

Varied missions and lots to do ; Clan system incentivizes playing with pals ; A fun, over-the-top story ; Improves on mechanics from Destiny in almost every way ; Another great raid gives a good reason to keep leveling up

Story will be hard to keep track of for new players ; Endgame progression is still opaque and confusing ; More raid ideas could stand to be included in other content

‘Destiny 2: Warmind’ review

Destiny 2: Warmind is a step up from its last expansion, but still suffers feels repetitive.

Lots of new secrets and weapons ; More variety ; Improved weapon progression ; New competitive ranking improve long-term play ; Feels much deeper than "Curse of Osiris."

Story feels thin ; Strikes feel recycled ; Not enough new enemies ; Endgame grind can be tedious

Destiny 2 remains a highly polished shooter that can be fun to pick up with friends, and Warmind will keep fans busy for few days, maybe even weeks. Moreover, the “Raid Lair” — a high-level mission for dedicated players — may inject even new,...

Destiny 2 Review

I've never witnessed hype on the level that surrounded Destiny back in 2014. Bungie's first post-Halo game looked to be their most ambitious, innovative title yet, with grand promises about the shared-world nature of the gameplay and a vast universe to...
