Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11

The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11 budget desktop has enough features to keep basic PC users satisfied, throws in Wi-Fi capability, and offers enough expansion room for future upgrades.

Nice price. 8GB of memory. 5GHz Wi-Fi support. Good connectivity. Solid performance numbers. Storage tray.

Lots of bloatware. The 300-watt power supply limits upgrades.

The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11 is a great choice for a desktop under $600, especially if you want the option to upgrade in your PC in the future. It has 2GB less memory than the Gateway DX4885-UR2D, but the Acer model's included 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi more...

Nice little machine.

If you need something cheap for a office and need windows 7 this is prefect.

Windows 7 and very easy to upgrade. I installed 8 gigs and SSD without any issues. The case is already setup to handle SSD.

Only real issue is these units are two years old. So they been seating in a warehouse for a while. I suppose the power supply is pretty weak but easy to replace so not big deal.

Good Value For a Spare PC

Needed a PC for a vacation home. Not to be a primary machine or anything like that, needed cheap and reasonably reliable. I had a previous inexpensive Acer as a home PC and it worked out great. This one actually is better, and has been a very good...

Great for non-Gamers

There was another comment about the low power which I agree with... However, this comp is super cheap and I would hope that 200 W is enough for what ACER built. If this worries you, please spend the money for a better PSU. Just $50-100 (maybe less, but...

Works Great

Great computer for a budget system.

Not a high end computer for sure but it was bought to run a Point of Sale system for my store and do some basic internet things. It has worked out great. Also to newegg the abbreviation for Point of Sale is not a bad word thanks for the warning though.

had windows 8.1 on it and its locked in the bios making it difficult to get windows 7 on it but in the end now that it has windows 7 it works fine.

Not too enthused.

I bought this to put my new gfx card in, ended up gutting the entire thing and putting it into a bigger case. Great home desktop one could fit a smaller size graphic card easily enough with alright airflow. No much room to add fans on there are no...

Works great is super fast ofc it has the 4600 i5 how could it not be fast? 8GB of ram is nice runs basically anything I run ArcheAge x2 Pandora and no issues. CHEAP the price of the processor itself is half this desktops

Good and bad

Would not recommend as a primary system.

Good feature set for the price. Good balance of performance and cost for a home office. Black case is contemporary and unobtrusive. Included OS backup/restore to USB drive utility (and it works).

Requires hours of setup time to remove of all the the adware, malware, and fake-ware that comes pre-installed. DVD drive non-functional on arrival. No big deal; purchased a new one from Newegg for $15. Internal Seagate hard drive failed after 60 days,...

Good Buy

We bought 3 of these systems for our office after receiving some pretty bad service dealing with Dell. I have to say these systems are a great value and work well thus far. -very fast -strong wifi connection (where others get weak signal) - easily...

Comes with a good deal of extra Acer/Add-on software which we easily removed doing a clean upgrade to Windows 10.

PIECE OF JUNK

The wife said, "Well, it looks nice..."

Right out of the box, a dead unit. Plugged everything in and NOTHING, not even a hum or fart. Tried several other power cords, still nothing. What a huge letdown.
