review after 4 years of use

ACER is no longer a reliable and no long longer an economic brand for me.

reasonably well priced desktop computer for normal everyday use. Like the front USB panel

computer died after 4 years light use. Had to change the motherboard after two weeks intense try and fail troubleshooting. Then found only 160G of HDD instead of 500GB listed. Do not know what to say

Amazing Machine

If you do a lot of heavy gaming, you may won't a better video card. (they are pretty cheap now a days :)

Wow! This is my first acer computer and I love it! The USB ports are situated for very easy access and I like how everything (CD drive, card slots, ect.) on the front are hidden. The computer works very fast and the USB mouse that comes with it is very...

Speakers aren't that great and I wouldn't use it for buisness

Acer Aspire AM3641-U3702A Pentium dual-core E2220(2.40GHz) 3GB DDR2 320GB NVIDIA GeForce 7100 Windows Vista Home Premium

Very inexpensive and looks good. Case is small and light and the computer is very quiet while running

bought this and a video card, come to find out the PSU is only 250w, is this a joke? I didnt even know they made such weak psu's anymore, if this would have been listed on the spec page i would have never bought it and the case is too small to shove a...

Acer Aspire AM3641-U3702A Pentium dual-core E2220(2.40GHz) 3GB DDR2 320GB NVIDIA GeForce 7100 Windows Vista Home Premium - Retail

I am really enjoying it so far. Haven't had any hick-ups and everything has been running like a dream. I do 3D Modeling and I am currently installing this software now. Here's hoping it still flies when this is up.

ok i have bought this computer to replace my older system, this is a great system. i do both multi media and gaming on this system, the only thing i did was put a PCI-E video card in and it runs world of warcraft great. would suggest this system to...

perfect for my non-gaming mother

You can't beat this for a good brand name budget desktop.

I like Acer, have 2 of my own, and price for that name brand was excellent at $400. It does everything she needs to do--mainly email, internet and some low-power games like puzzles and card games. It has more storage than she needs right now and the...

Only one and it isn't NewEgg's or Acer's fault, it's Microsoft's problem and I'll have to deal with it. The product key was apparently hijacked. Now I get to spend a day on the phone with MS to straighten it out and get it valid

No driver disks or OS disk??? SERIOUSLY?

Wouldn't use it for gaming, obviously, but it is a nice media PC after a little adding(larger HDDs, and a reasonably priced video card).

Cheap, nice specs for price. Using it for media pc in entertainment room. Has an open PCI-E slot that I put a GeForce 8600GT in for better HD capabilities. Small and quiet. Like the USB locations. Thinking about disconnecting the LEDs on the...

Doesn't come with OS disk to reinstall Vista if it crashes. Big Letdown. First thing I always do when I get a new computer is reformat and reinstall drivers so I can start from scratch how I want it. No option for this when it doesn't come with the...

Great Machine for the price

Maby a dual channel ram upgrade

This machine has all the basic features that you will need, and then some. Fast and quiet with plent of space to expand. I like the top mounted USB and audio ports no fear of breaking off a thumb drive when you walk by the front

None Just get a nice monitor and some good speakers and your set

Tremendous Value - Easy Set up - Fast and Quiet

Fast, Easy set up, amazingly quiet running (you wouldn't know it is running if it weren't for the blue light.) This is maybe the biggest bang for the buck. Bought the open box version for $299...looked new in factory box..unpacked, plugged it in,...

Just got it last night but it is hard to find fault with this system... very poor speakers but they are servicable... Acer crapware to uninstall but nothing that is the fault of the system

Great machine for the wife

PCIe slot available for add-on vid card. This is a bargain for this powerful of a system. Plugged it in and it worked.

Compact size. Great port placement. Video card adequate for full eye candy in vista. Excellent performance at this price

No DVI port, D-SUB only. Had to go out and buy a cable to hook this up to my LCD panel. Inexplicably partitioned hard drive. A LOT of crapware comes pre-installed. Took over an hour to uninstall it all
