The Acer Extensa 5620 won't blow you away in the style or performance stakes, but for less than £400 (inc. VAT) it's good enough for every day tasks, especially if your needs are basic, but don't consider it if you're looking for a multimedia machine.

Documentation. Also hard disc partitioned in very inefficient way which appears to waste vast amount of available space. Battery life not as good as I expected.

The value for money was absolutely great and the wide screen is an amazing feature. The expierence of watching films on my new laptop is better than on my tv.
