Just FreeDOS on this model, easy to wipe and install what you want (OpenElec for me). Good connectivity, WiFi + Gigabit Ethernet. Quiet unless pushed. Multiple stand arrangements.

Lots of screws to get to the hard drive, worth it though as quieter and faster with an SSD. Guides on Youtube so easily worked out. Packaged like a premium product in a shiny box, would have rather had it another couple of quid cheaper!

Cheap PC for use as a media streamer, memory upgrade very easy

Supplied OS is very basic as expected, cannot understand why the boot sequence is not set to boot from CD or USB before the HDD when manufactured as something (Unix or Windows) has to be loaded to make the PC useable. Not a system for someone without...

Does exactly what it says it does.

System is essentially unusable with the standard (Open DOS) OS. This is more of an observation than a criticism since the product clearly states that this is the supplied OS; beginners may struggle.

Nice for the price. Good little system for openelec.

Forget this if your planning on a windows installation yourself. Nothing but headaches and problems and blues screens.

Runs Linux easily. Install openELEC and in 20 minutes you have a fully functional HTPC. Happily runs a full distro though (Linux Mint).

USB sticks appear as HDD's in the BIOS boot order. Confusing when trying to boot from a USB stick.

Comes without GUI operating system, which means no added cost. You can install Linux or windows from a USB bootable pendrive.

Difficult to add operating system for none I.T literate person. Creating a bootable OS pendrive is not simple for non-tech's
