Advent Eco PC review

Many processor chips alone use that much power, and that doesn't include the hard drive, graphics card and the rest of the system. Can the Advent Eco PC measure up?

More than just a gimmick, the compact and eco-friendly Advent Eco PC delivers low power consumption, cool running and more than enough performance for any day-to-day task. It comes highly recommended.

Using half as much power as a 60W light bulb is a bold claim made at PC World for its Advent Eco PC.

The greatest strength is its small compact size with so powerful speed: intel dual core 1.5GHz, ideal to connect to LCD TV for watching internet entertainment; quiet without overheat problem; wireless keyboard that enables me to take it as remote...

No reset of the function key in the keyboard to other programs. Hope to improve this to enable user's freedom to freely associate the fn key at the top of wireless keyboard with other installed programs. better to have 2 more usb plug-ins; 4 are not...

Silent running, looks good and takes little space.

Wireless keyboard is totally useless. I chucked mine away and bought a proper one.

Very Quiet, and the small design is good

It did not come with the small wireless keyboard dongle, so the keyboard is useless. the first one I bought did have all the parts and was very good.

Very nice little PC, fanless design. Compact and so silent. Brilliant choice for home theatre PC.

DVD writer went bust 10 minutes after power up. The CPU can not handle power hungry Vista. I had to switch off all effects in order to be able to watch standard definition movies. HD - is definetly no go (even 720p).
