If you're thinking about going from PC to Mac... DON'T.

After a couple of terrible Gateway products we decided to try the Mac. What we expected was: 1) Reliability, 2) Intuitive commands/easy skills transition, 3) Ease of cross-talk between our Mac at home and our PCs at work (yes, we believed the sales...

I could not consider buying any other desktop

The 17" iMac is the way to go, if you have the budget.

Spacious screen and deliciously quiet. Reliable

Some software is slightly below par -- Internet Explorer, Appleworks word processing

MAC AND ITS ESSENTIALS

Forever I thought that macs were bad computers and not useful at all. Then in February 2001, I sort of changed my mind. When my mom first saw the computer she wanted it because it was pretty. Funny reason to buy a computer huh? I wanted it because I...

iLove this Computer!

I won't drone on with the specs because if you're reading this, you already know them. If you're thinking about switching from a PC to Mac, and you're nervous about the mHz speed, don't be. An 800 mHz iMac is about the same as a 1.6 gHz Pentium....

Elegant, easy to use, and powerful

You'll want a new mouse. SuperDrive is slow

My stay at-home buddy

Well, let's start from the beginning... I was in KC for Christmas and went to one of the computer stores. It was going to be my first time to see the iMac. Oh I was awe struck. I couldnt believe how beautiful it was!!! It was a little larger than...

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful...did I mention Beautiful?

If you want an uplifting experience, go buy one of these machines and open the package. First call all the family in to watch. From the moment you take the machine out of its box you will be impressed. This is the most beautiful machine on the...

Beautiful machine, fast processor, crystal clear screen, easy to move, nicely packaged

Its cute and its house-trained

Perhaps you are shopping for a new computer...would this be the one? Several points to consider:

Stylish, compact, great for the aspiring filmmaker

pricy; eject button very curiously placed

Converted from PC

This elegantly designed computer has even made converts of my skeptical Wintel kids and non-computing spouse.

Elegant design, fast, easy to operate, reliable

Hmmm?? I'm sure I'll find something eventually. Could use a 2 button mouse
