Nice little kit

I bought this to replace a full-sized box as my MythTV system. I have 2 PCI tuners, so I needed a system with onboard S-Video, DVI, gigabit ethernet, and S/PDIF audio. This little box is the only one I could find on newegg that met all of these...

A nice, solid machine with a slim form factor and sleek looks. Capable of supporting Athlon X2 5400+ (at least) despite what the documentation claims. Mini jack, S/PDIF, gigabit ethernet, S-Video, DVI, VGA, firewire, card reader all on board - there...

There's nothing really "wrong" with the Pundit, but it does have several limitations (mainly due to form factor). Some full-height PCI cards will not fit without modification. Lying flat, the left side of the case ("bottom" if oriented vertically) is...

Have this setup with a Seagate 500gb sata, AM2 4200+ and 2GB of PNY. Quick little machine

Does not work with G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400). Needed to use round cables for ide connect to dvd for better cooling

very pretty

I built this system for a friend and I like it enough that I may buid one for myself

Nice looking case! Feels like good quality when you pick it up.(heavy) Installed CPU and RAM(AMD x2 4000+ and corsair 2 GB)I suggest a sata DVD burner along with a sata hard drive. IDE cable may restrict air flow since this case is so compact.Included...

No PC express although Newegg sells a pci video card that is directx 10 compatable for VISTA

Nice inexpensive media machine

I wish the optical sound output was on the back of the machine rather than up front. The power/hard drive lights are extremely bright in my dark living room (solved with some opaque tape).

This machine is compact, quiet (even with included heatsink/fan) and very well equipped for the money. All of the on board hardware shows up under Linux though I had to spend some time reading about the hda_intel sound driver. I have only used the...

Have had several of these RMA'd for what seems to be video chip overheating issues. Originally purchased one for private use that worked really well. Followed that up with an order for 8 for the office. RMA'd 2/8. Both of the RMAs exhibited the same...

Best HTPC case for the price

I've used many other HTPC cases for Media boxes in the past (Silverstone, Shuttle) and have had nothing but issues. Thank you Asus for a great, well priced product. The case is all plastic, but durable. Not cheap or flimsy at all. This case is an...

Well priced barebones system. Great for HTPC on a budget. All components work great with Linux/Mythtv. I've used this case for 5 different Media Center PC's I've built all with great results. Two PCI slots for dual tuner cards, whole host of video...

Only two Cons to this case: 1- Optical audio out is concealed under front panel of case which is a major bummer because you always have to have the panel open. 2- There is only 1 3.5in drive bay for Hard Drive, luckily HD prices are dropping like...

Only Wispers

How can you say no to free shipping!

Awesome design, heavy weight material, and quite. So quite I walked into my room and didn't even know my computer was running. Also has a lot of output makes great for a media center

Only 1 Harddrive, and 1 cd/dvd drive :(, No PCI Express

Beware if you want this to drive a HDTV

Other than the DVI not working properly I noticed (while uninstalling everything to return to Newegg) that the heatsync has only about a nickel size circle where it actually contacts the processor! I would strongly recommend scraping off their thermal...

Quick and easy assembly, Very quiet, even with the included HS and fan

DVI does NOT work well with all HDTV's when using DVI-HDMI Converter. Problem is a hardware problem which cannot be fixed. Spent lots of time on nvidias forums and the only solution is to solder a resistor between a +5 voltage and DVI pin on the...
