Excellent Case

Good price, supports large hard drives (Im using a 2tb Samsung drive), power connector has been modified and does not fall out easily, supports ESATA, looks great on my desk

Installation takes a little longer than I would have liked

The HD is loaded from the top and then it slides into the connector board requiring the enclosure to be somewhat longer than the HD and the circuit board. This is not a big deal, but the protruding part of the enclosure that fits in the stand tends to...

Price. Everything fits well. You get an eSATA cable. Mostly aluminium. Power connection is sturdy and the eSATA cable is long enough for my needs. Windows 7 64-bit recognizes the HD when it's plugged in

Weird screws make you work hard to install the HD. Picture on Newegg implies that the front cover gets removed and hard drive slides in. In fact, you have to unscrew a total of 6 screws: 4 to remove the top cover and 2 more to remove the HD...

It worked as advertised. Easy to use and plug and play. Worked great to recover information from the hard drive of a computer the crashed totally on me. And now I have and Extra External Hard drive

Very Satisfied

So do not worry about getting a DOA unit. AZio will fix you right up! Very good folks to work with.

I have just ordered my third one of these enclosures. Have been very happy with them. I will continue to buy them as we fill up hard drives. AZio has a VERY good Customer Service. Fast, and helpful

At the time we bought the last one, about 6mo ago, they were having a problem with the power supply boards. That one failed. But AZio sent a new board out as soon as I called. Very simple to change

Excellent enclosure

Nice little stand. Looks great altogether. Newegg is always stellar with prompt order processing and shipping.

Runs really cool with a 1.5 TB Samsung EcoGreen F2 SATA 5400rpm drive. Install was really easy, took about 2 minutes, HDD fits right in. Copied over 1 TB on first try, no slag, and steady 60-68 MB/sec on SATA, or about 40 MB/sec on USB2.0. No fan is a...

So far, after a week of continuous use - none

didn't last long

I hope their RMA procedure is easy.

easy to install a drive, simple construction, nice setup, looks nice

cheap parts. My power supply died, tripped my UPS, and powered down my computer. I've never had an external power brick do anything like this before. This after only 9 months

Far more than I expected for the price!

Aluminum case - great heat dissipation, even when stacked 4 high (2x 10K + 2x 7200 RPM drives) ; Jet-black, with holed black front grill with bright blue LED - looks great ; Slim profile - about 1/4" thicker than a pack of cigarettes ; Been using them...

Not a fan of proprietary DIN connectors (there is no earthly reason to use 6 pins when 2 will do). Connector doesn't feel as sturdy as some others (but see above re "4 months, no issues") ; LED light may be too bright (distracting at night when...

Good external HDD enclosure

Works good. Has both USB and Esata which makes it useful for bouncing from computer to computer if need be. Matched my computer as well, which was a bonus

HDD runs a bit warm but nothing drastic

Great for SFF's.

Great transfer rates using eSATA and the option to use USB if not available. Reasonable price

broke one due to my being clumsy

Great Product!

Easy to set-up. Plug and play, no drivers needed for XP or Vista. Unlike many commercial external hard drives, this unit has a power switch! My older IDE version of this device has been working flawlessly for years
