R710 Review

 

The cell phone sized lithium battery in the front of the server may be subject to heat from the drive bays? But I am sure that was a design consideration and is not a problem.

Easy install

The DVDrom is not very securely installed. Pushing in the drive tray in can cause the DVD module to slide back into the chassis housing requiring removal of the chassis cover to re-secure it
