eMachines T5062 review: eMachines T5062

eMachines T5062

A dual-core eMachines PC costs only $50 more; eight-channel audio.

Single-core processor lags behind budget competitors that offer dual-core processing; only two DIMM slots.

There's no reason to buy the eMachines T5062 when you can nab a dual-core PC from eMachines for just a few dollars more.

Emachine T5062

I just got this computer..So far so good..It runs real smooth and its fast getting to the desktop, I also just installed a video card to run counter-strike better..Computers awesome. Probably gonna add another gig of ram

It runs Vista but its pretty good i guess but it has alot of useless stuff that takes up space. Also it only has one processor i wish a bought a dual processor and came with more gig of ram

Pretty Good Computer

Easy to hook up and loads very fast to the desktop. I just installed a video card into it too and that was easy. Overall a good computer

Only comes with 1 gb of ram. But Not much of a headache to install a ram

Really Great Computer

i wish it came with 2 gigs of ram so i don't have to upgrade like I'm doing now.

Really great computer, really fast, right now i'm purchasing a new graphics card (XFX 8600 GT XXX), and also getting my new member stick (Kingston 2x1 gig) hoping it'll come in 2-3 days with no mail errors. This computer is super fast, i used this...

i hate the fact it has many useless stuff on vista, thats why I'm getting my new 2 gig ram stick to run a lot better. uninstall the eMachines games and useless tools. i kept the anti-virus because mcafee is really good if you know what your doing like I

Works great

Add more memory to 1 gb to improve speed.

Works great for a starter computer. Lots of expansion for extra hard drive. No major problems in 6 months operation

DVD false door did not work when arrived and had to remove to access the dvd. The door problem was probably why it was returned in the first place

just plain wierd

I will never understand what it is with emachines. They use reasonably good stuff, but they just do not work properly. We always used to joke in tech support that if you remove the emachine label, they work better.

optical drive, hdd, and cpu ok

Money makers for techs they were our bread and butter

Refurb Blues!

Don't by emachine refurbs shell out the cash and get a new one. Dell, Acer etc.emachines customer support is terrible each time they sent me through swapping out the memory, unplugging the power cord etc.

Excellent shipping emachine arrived in 3 days

Out of the box Emachine would not post D.O.A., nor was there any video.Bad motherboard? they replaced the motherboard and sent it back, lo and behold! it's doing the same thing

great tower

i'll add a 8600 GT pci-e x16 512mb video card and a 2 gig memory upgrade when i get time maybe a new harddrive 500gig

it shipped within 3 days, the tower is beautiful and shiny. better than my old hp celeron with 512mb memory and 30 gigs. but i upgraded and the Gaming experience is WAY better

none that i can say but needs more memory but i won't complain

Good PC

This is great for expanding on and pretty custimizable with it's X16 slot.

This computer runs great for the price. It will at least play all the games that are out now but on low settings. If you buy a 2GB RAM and a good Gpu it can become a very good gaming machine. Newegg has very good shiping

RAM is a bit small for hard core gaming
