In the end, the eMachines T6212 is the best deal we have seen for under $600 dollars. Period.

eMachines T6212

Whether you're a power user looking for a base unit to upgrade and experiment with, or a student or home-office user seeking an inexpensive yet capable system, the T6212 fills the bill.

Dual-layer DVD writer. Media card readers. SATA-capable system. Athlon 64 performance. PCIe x16 slot for future expansion. ATI Radeon Xpress 200 graphics. Large (160GB) hard drive.

Ball mouse. Only one additional drive bay. Shared memory puts a strain on performance.

The eMachines T6212 is an ideal machine for power users who want an inexpensive base system to experiment with and upgrade over the long term, as well as for student or home-office users seeking a system that will grow along with their needs.

Marketing Trickery

Computer performs well for the price.

170.00 in hidden charges and the inconvenience of re-installing the Office Suite await you.

Probably not for sale anymore, but I still love this machine!

Great price, even better upgradability...

OEM hard drive is not SATA. On-board sound.

Great machine for upgrades, has quality issues

Great value for the features, decent components

ATI integrated graphics too weak for gaming. May arrive with problems. eMachines, are you listening?

Great Machine - Great Price

Great Price. Fast Processing. Good Quality. Easy to expand and add components.

Didn't need some of the software that came with the machine.
