Bare-bones PC with plenty of potential

Lacks Media Center basics like TV tuner

This affordable Media Center PC delivers decent performance for the price--and it's very upgradeable.

eMachines T6420

The eMachines T6420 will meet the needs of most people who want a multimedia machine but have no intention of doing extensive photo/video work or high-end gaming.

Reasonable price for a Media Center PC. PCIe x16 expansion slot. Good expansion space for an entry-level PC.

No TV tuner available. McAfee Internet Security Suite subscription only 90 days. Ball mouse (instead of optical).

eMachines T6420

After a slight step back last quarter, eMachines regains its footing with the T6532, a budget PC that delivers slightly better specs and performance at a lower price than the T-series model it replaces.

Rock-bottom price; offers better performance than competing budget systems; supplies PCI Express x16 slot for graphics upgrades; generous software bundle; inexpensive warranty-upgrade options.

Not customizable; no FireWire port; rollerball mouse.

After a slight step back last quarter, eMachines regains its footing with the T6532, a budget PC that delivers more for the money than competing budget systems, including the T-series model it replaces.

emachine T6420

I bought an emachine T6420 on 2/26/06, bundled with a flat panel monitor, and printer within a few weeks the space bar started sticking, after several attempts with emachine's "customer service" (it is now May) I still have the original keyboard...

Black color's good, "customer service" is open late. You can downgrade p.c. parts for free!

Bad customer support, They don't care about you after you buy their p.c.. bad parts
