Refurbished PowerColer AXR7 250

When you finally get it working, it works pretty good! Fast enough and can watch HD content. Kodi Box

1) Even with trying to install Windows 8.1 I still have to go into BIOS, turn off secure boot, and enable CSM in order to get it to boot off my USB drive with windows 8.1 on it ; 2) Wireless N only supports 2.4GHz range, which I should have read closer...

change of heart

My frustration got the better of me. Foxconn's Nano Pc is a great little computer - this version works well for digital signage.

This is a re-review. I must apologize for the bad review. Foxconn has responded to my issues and all is well. These nano pc's are set up for windows 8 From the factory. I would have changed the review to 5 eggs except for the fact one of the little pcs...

Documentation is still lacking. A short paragraph would have been helpful

nano pc no go

EFI is iffy.

These little barebone pc's are very nice looking and easy to assemble. I liked the dual core amd processor. This is the second batch I have purchased

I have purchased 12 of these. The first six that Ipurchased had amd processors and worked great. My recent purchase of six more have intel processors. One is DOA and the other 5 make great paper weights. Windows 7 will not load on any of them. In fact...

Everything good but documentation needs updated.

After receiving and following the directions I came to a stopping point. In the assembly directions, it shows that there should be a PCI-E wireless network card. It wasn't a big deal for me for it not to have wireless but it concerned me that a part...

Small and quiet ; USB drive with drivers a big plus

Documentation shows that there should be a PCI-E wireless network card, none in the box ; USB 2.0 ports are a bit flaky prior to installing all drivers, I had to put the drivers (~1.6 GB) on a file share on my network so I could finish installing them

good enough for small tasks

I bought this thinking I would use it for some minimalist linux experimentation. The first one didn't boot as far as the bios, just a blue light and the fan turned on. The replacement worked ok, but it's just kind of underpowered, even for a no-frills...

cheap ; small

flaky bios ; not very powerfull

Works like a champ

I didn't expect too much but I went ahead and purchased this based on other reviewer remarks (they were right!) I stream many things from my Qnap (2 floors down) through power line ethernet, this handles everything with grace. I run many games on this,...

Very small (book size), relatively quiet, decent performance with SSD, or SSHD. Wifi works and has decent range, well crafted aka this doesn't feel cheap at all. I wanted to upgrade my HTPC and had some spare parts laying around (4GB ram, msata 64GB,...

Odd errors with certain steam games, though this might be intel hd graphics issue...CANNOT get WOL to work!! this is making me crazy! Obviously this could be more powerful, but if you want a good amount more performance get the iBt19 as it has a quad...

Works like a champ

If you don't need the NIC then it will probably work fine.

Small, inexpensive box, would probably work fine if you just wanted to use the wireless

Couldn't get the built in NIC to work with Windows 7 64bit or Windows 8 pro. Tried twice, once with the first one and then again with the replacement after an RMA. The NIC would just disable itself after 30 seconds to 3 minutes and disappear from...
