Consumer review (newegg.com)

Gateway SX2803-25E Refurbished Desktop PC Pentium E5800(3.20GHz) 6GB 1TB HDD Capacity Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

This thing has been a wrestle to fix up, but I managed to hook it up with an open case, 500w power supply, 8GB RAM, and a Radeon 6750 HD. It can now tackle any game released up to this point (2012/1/16) without any lag whatsoever, and handles all of my...

1. PRICE. I got this for about $270, which is great considering the parts it has in it ; 2. Storage, definitely. 1TB of memory gives you a lot to work with, and once again for a great price. More expensive models come with a lot less ; 3. USB slots....

1. The BIOS for the CPU is not accessible, so you won't be overclocking at all ; 2. My computer only came with 4GB as opposed to six, but I managed to upgrade it to 8GB for only $20, contrary to the 6GB limit advertised here ; 3. The case is TINY. Very...

Wow. What a Waste of Time.

I know these units are re-certified, but I am very disappointed that a DOA unit could somehow be shipped to a consumer. It really makes me question how well these units are checked. Shame on Gateway/Acer and Newegg for selling them.

Unit wouldn't even power on upon arrival. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom, and I'm definitely glad I checked it before I gifted it. Sent it back for a refund

Don't buy this unless you want a headache

We ordered this as a sweet 16 gift for our daughter, it was the one she picked out not the one I would have chose mind you. When it arrived I opened the package and set it up as per usual methods with included keyboard, mouse, etc. Turned the unit on...

As per usual newegg.com ships fast and it arrives when they say it will other than that there were no pros

1. Missing Hard Drive ; 2. Missing Memory ; 3. Missing Sata data cables ; 4. Included a cheap mouse and logitech keyboard not even Gateway branded ; 5. Case had dings and scratched as per usual with recertified

Great little machine.

Very good machine. Very small and quiet. Performs really well right out of the box. Maybe not the greatest video drivers/card, but should be plenty fine for non-gamers.
