I like it

I bought this to retire an HP Pavilion (1 GHz Athlon, 1GB memory) that has worked beautifully for about 6 years. It was used as a file, print and tape server for backups at my home. It is still fast and responsive so its retirement will be an active...

Quiet. Fast. LightScribe. Decent price. 32/64 bit. Comes with max memory that can be supported in 32 bit mode. Can take advantage of 64 bit mode capability with current memory or you can replace the current memory with double the current memory to take...

For my purposes, no real cons. But here's something I ran into that you might also. When setting mine up for dual boot Vista/Linux, I booted using a DVD of Red Hat Fedora 8 linux, and, subsequently, a Live CD of it. In both cases, the keyboard and...

Great computer

Great machine, even gamers should get it.

Great rig. The 3 GB os ram and the powerful CPU drive this thing great. And you can never beat almost half a TB of HD space. The integrated graphics card isn't that bad, I can play almost all Source games on max except no HDR

Even the integrated graphics card isn't as bad as most, it's still highly limited. I plan on getting an ATi HD 3850 soon

Nice PC and Nice Price

Tech note: if yur montior only supports DVI, you will need a new graphics card, as the onboard video in analog only.

A very nice unit. Quiet and very fast. Rock solid perforance. I highly recommend adding a OC Express 16 graphics card and and beefier power supply unit. Other these two items, the computer is a terrific bargain for $650 ; I hooked up an external hard...

None that i can think of. The graphics card and PSU are the only weaknesses of this machine, but if you are not an intense gamer this will not affect you

Great PC!

I purchased this as I was looking for a new gaming rig with budget being the number 1 priority. With the A6230N I found it had everything I was looking for for a decent price. I originally considered buying a cyberpower PC or Alienware, but the...

2.8Ghz, 3 gb ram, 360 gb avail HDD, expandability, speed, HP reliability. Can fit 8800GT. GTS, GTX and Ultra would fit nicely as well. I took measurements and these dual slot monsters would fit fine with no clearance issues. Would have to take 56k...

Power source unit is stock 300 watts. Integrated graphics can not play any serious games. Can easily be upgraded though! No ability for SLI. Case can be thermally restrictive. Zalman 9700NT will not fit with case panel on. Have to leave side panel off....

Buy It, You'll Like It

I look for two things in buying a computer: processing power and how much RAM it can take. Software comes and goes, sound and audio cards too, but processing power and RAM amount are what you build everything else around. I bought this computer after...

New technology, quiet, fast processor, lots of RAM, smaller footprint, great value for money.

None so far.
