HP Pavilion Elite M9500F(FQ562AA) Phenom X4 9750(2.4GHz) 8GB DDR2 750GB NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

good computer for business

quad core CPU 8GB's of ram built in graphics card with 256mbs of memory, and a lot of hard drive memory

Great! ...when it works.

Maybe you'll have better luck, but I wouldn't reccomend HP to anyone. I've had nothing but problems.

Processor is fast, lots of RAM, decent video card for some decent gaming. I ran Crysis at full settings at 800 x 600 near-flawlessly in DX10 mode

Tons of bloatware. Terrible HP support. Bluescreens all over the place. Mine has had tons of RAM problems, and I had to take out two of the 2gb sticks to get the system to a semi-stable state. Onboard sound can never amount to a decent soundcard. Only...

Good Value

Vista is different... not really bad. I did cheat and make certain Xerox provided driver download for 64-bit Vista and my printer before ordering m9500f. Upgraded to IE 8, use favorites bar in similar fashion to Firefox on my Linux machines. FrontPage...

Fast AMD processor, plenty of RAM, value priced, operates reasonably quiet, no problems during initial boot, easily integrated into home network. Sync'd with old HP f2105 LCD monitor, no problem using KVM switch, connected to network (wireless and...

No DVD copy of software provided... a restore partition on HD is provided instead. Glut of promotional software I removed, HP and others

I need earplugs!

I wouls have liked to have seen a wireless keyboard and mouse (I added my own) Vista, of course has made my life miserable. (And cost me more than a few hundred dollars replacing non vista compatible hardware and software.)

fast processor, adequate hard drive, built in Wifi

This has to be the chatty Kathy of all computers! it moans, sounds like gears stripping, I've never owned a computer this noisy! Before neuropathy set in, I built computers for myself and my friends and never experienced this

HTPC in a box

Added a Sony blu-ray player to empty optical drive port. There is room for at least 4 hard disks. Added a wireless keyboard with touchpad so that computer can be controlled from couch. Some small items on Windows desktop hard to read from 10 feet away...

loaded with RAM, fast AMD quad 2.3 Ghz processor can handle multiple tasks that would crash lesser systems

Windows Vista is not compatible with printer drivers for my network printers on Windows XP server. Haven't figured it out yet. Unimportant since printing will rarely be needed in HTPC role. Audio card had no optical out. Digital coax audio cable...

Sweet Deal!

Pros- I got this as the last pc at circuit city for their going out of business. Last 4 days got 30% off I only paid $625 after taxes so I got a super deal! Specs are pretty good for that price

Graphics card is actually pretty darn loud. A bunch of things need to be uninstalled. Only one case fan

Bad Design

Don't count on any help from HP

Good PC, Tons of RAM, TV Tuner

Geforce 9500gs Graphics Card - The fan on this video card sounds like a chain saw grinding through sheet metal. If you google it you will find dozens of complaints

It's a great choice

Evan CNET likes this HP.

For the price all of the hard components are impressive. Even the graphic are good if you're not a serious gamer. Vista is an major improvement over HP's proprietary XP version

HP still likes to load a bunch of junk you have to uninstall

Pretty Darn Solid

Out the box it won't compete with alien ware or other 2-3k machines. Put a little money into it and it will. For the layman, this machine has it all right out the box. Won't need to upgrade by the end of this year either! It comes with plenty of...

powerful newly refined AMD chipset, Ram to spare, expansion capability to spare, and a pretty slick looking design. It came out the box just about 100%. Had to grab some drivers off of the web but the puter did it automatically. This should be a best...

Vista. I know it isn't the manufacturers fault but man, please Microsoft, hurry up and release Win 7! Vista is the worlds largest resource hog. Had me contemplating looking for XP or going to another OS! I am holding out hope that Vista will go the way...
