HP M8180

Very quick quad, great memory and power.

Only 1 CD/DVD reader, and no option for Vista Ultimate

Enjoy all the features of Windows Vista Home Premium edition with this high-spec model from HP with 3Gb RAM, an amazing Intel Core 2 Quad Processor (just like having 4 separate processors for different tasks) and a powerful NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT...

Wireless mouse occasionally loses its connection after waking up from hibernate mode

HP M8180

Great quality product, easy to set up and with more features than you know what to do with. I haven't tried it for gaming yet, but picture quality on the HPw2207 Monitor i bought to go with it is superb.

Monitor sound quality is poor. you need to purchase some good digitial speakers to get the full experience.

Super all around computer

I got this puter for $699 (after all rebates) and for the price, it's a super sweet deal. Now, if someone would just pass on which card to upgrade the graphics card with I'll dance at your wedding... :))

Fast as this dollar level will get you, and it's loaded with 'fun stuff' such as the tv tuner, light scribe disk, surround sound - which used to be extra. 2.8g on the AMD 2x processor = very fast processing, lots of hard drive space (although we all...

Graphics card gives it a slight minus rating - it plays most of my shoot 'em up games but at reduced graphics levels and I can't seem to find any update info to replace it with. Probably won't play the next generation of games to come out...:(( The...

Overall Very Good

The missing RAM mentioned above is probably the 128MB of RAM that Vista allocates for video.

Very fast and stable, which is a surprise for a leviathan OS like Windows Vista

Onboard Graphics card not bad but not great either

Fantasic Media Center

I didn't buy it for here. I got this at an un-disclosed electronics store (hint: it's named after a fried potato dish usually found at most fast food joints). The one at the store came with a 20 in. LCD and I got a 3-year warranty with it. It is a...

Where do I start! Insanely fast, Vista Premium preloaded. Tons of extra software from HP to get you started. Excellent customer support. Very fast to get set-up. Huge HDD space for recording your favorite shows with the TV Tuner it comes with

When I got it, it said it had 2.87GB RAM. Odd but whatever. Comes with modem card, got rid of that and stuck in my good-old Super G Airlink card. I believe one of the front USB ports is dead on mine. On-board graphics suck, so I'm ordering an 8600GTS...

Better than I expected! ”

I purchased my HPw1858 in April, 2010 at Walmart Super Center.(My first brand name purchase.) The box contained the monitor, keyboard, mouse and the tower. This was my first brand name computer purchase and I was skeptical about the purchase. It also...

A Joy to Use ”

I replaced a Gateway notebook with an HP p6228 desktop computer, and it was the best decision I've ever made about electronics. It has a quad core processor -- which I had never even heard of at the time -- and a 20" screen. It also has the Nvidea...

I love my HP! ”

I am not exactly what you would call overly technologically savvy but HP makes it easy for me. I love my HP desktop! It is so easy to use and the technological support team at HP is friends and helpful. I have had my computer for about three years now...
