Great Entertainment PC

Next time we buy stock laptops, desktops and consumer electronics, we'll buy from NewEgg so we can compare the different OEMs' offers and go with the best at the sharpest price. This HP has taught us to shop around - which we can do on NewEgg, and...

We bought this system when AMD's quad core CPU's were just released and have found the low end 9500 to be completely satisfactory in its processing power and speed. That spoken, we discovered there's still almost no software being developed for quad...

HP discounted the system by 20% a month after purchase - that smarted a bit! Our hard drive wasn't seated correctly, and some other minor problems, so we had to send in the machine for repair early on. The 20" HP Monitor we bought in a package deal is...

Great System

I do like the extruded aluminum fins they use for co I hope this lasts.

This is a great system for anyone. It is fast and has a ton of storage plus an HP Media Bay for their hardrives. The graphics card is great and works good with AERO. This computer is good for today and tommorow it has the newest AM2+ Socket, PCI...

The only cons are it has only one original PCI slot and that it is prone to finger prints

Nice System for the price

Runs wow, plus some back ground programs without a problem. Get 50+ fps most of the time...easy set-up

ONLY thing I can think of is...upgrading the memory to 4g total the case space is really tight. Would be nice to have vista64 on a 64bit system

Very happy!

Easy setup! Computer is fast and appears well made ; I couldn't build one for anything close to this price. AMD Quad and 3gb of ram are plenty fast for my needs which are mainly personal investing and internet usage. I do watch DVD's and the High...

HP recovery / backup lacks

The Vista Home Premium?? addition has a Windows Backup program which only stores categories of user data. It does not create a backup image and doesn't even create a backup of application files. Which means if your harddrive crashes, you will have to...

Nice setup. Lots of processing power and future performance expansion, since full speed isn't realized with existing configuration. Graphics and sound capability much better than I expected, can actually play some games out of the box.

32bit OS on 64bit hardware. Though, that may be more to do with ensuring stability, and if so, I'm OK with that. Speed is useless without stability. BACKUP and RECOVERY options are not the greatest. Can't backup Complete SYSTEM, just users files. Which...

Great Computer ”

Great computer fast and works well with some games.  Vey intese games would require a video card upgrade which would require a power supply upgrade as well.  Large 320gig hard drives x2. Lightscribe enabled Dvd - cd writer.
