iBuypower Video Pro

The iBuypower Video Pro can serve as a serious hobbyist video workstation, with plenty of room and power for future upgrades.

Quad-core power and speedy memory for video editing. Blu-ray burner with HD DVD ROM. Decent expansion possibilities. Comes with VHS-to-DVD converter and Adobe Premiere Elements.

Loud fans. Lacks eSATA. A little pricey compared with similar hardware.

iBuyPower Video Pro Power Desktop

The Video Pro offers midrange performance at an excellent price, though we would upgrade the peripherals.

Competitively priced ; 1TB of storage

Basic keyboard and mouse

Review: iBuyPower Video Pro

This iBuyPower rig delivers a lot of PC power in a surprisingly affordable package.

Exceptional performance and specs for this price. Integrated optical, 8-channel audio. Includes Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 and Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder (though these weren’t installed on our test rig). Snazzy aluminum case with a cool blue light...

Stability issues are troubling. No front-mounted FireWire port, and only one front USB port

Workstation Review iBUYPOWER Video Pro Editing Workstation

The best way we've found to think of iBUYPOWER's Video Pro system is as a well-primed canvas that is ready to accept the paint of your video projects. It's the first 64-bit Windows Vista-based system (this one happens to run Home Premium) to cross our...

Great component choices 64-bit Windows Vista is very stable

Premiere Elements not pre-installed Driver oddities (easily solved, but still inconvenient)

A great performer, although the spartan out-of-the box software configuration may be a mixed blessing.
