Great Little Nettop

People buying this should already be aware that this is not a desktop, I use mine for an HTPC and it performs wonderfully. For the people that are having a problem with studdering high def they need to use a program that supports hardware accelerated...

Can play high def video without skipping

Not the fastest thing under the sun, but for what it is a great computer

64bit processor and it ships with W7 32-bit? Would probably run faster on WIN XP. If netflix would drop silverlight I would load Kubuntu on this and call it a day.

Prebuilt, good price, small power footprint. Plays 1080p MKVs without problems

System is a tad slow compared to my custom built ATOM HTPC, but not a show stopper ; As with all the most ATOM builds HD netflix steaming doesnt work(choppy). But this seems to be a problem with microsofts poor silverlight plugin(not surprised)

Not a bad Little Machine

I got this one after taking a shot with the Acer. I like this one far better even if it is a little slower. It plays digital 1080p just fine and the quality when even attached to a 55" LED is not bad at all. The wireless antenna could be better and it...

Compact, HDMI support, qwerty wireless Keyboard, Minimal Bloatware

Speed a little slow, wireless a little weak but not bad

Bye-Bye cable and Tivo

Use VLC Media Player for HD content - it supports GPU accelerated processing.

What can I say? IdeaCentre nettop + attic mounted antenna from Channel Master + a inexpensive ATSC tuner from KWorld (USB) = one happy customer. Windows 7 Media Center is my DVR, podcast catcher is running in the background, it all fits nicely on...

Can't watch Netflix. At the moment there is no hardware acceleration (GPU support) in Silverlight, so CPU has to do all of the work and poor Atom can't handle it. Microsoft, will you please ...? Flash - no problems, especially after 10.2 release

Very nice

Very happy with my purchase, had the homeland security not seized one of the websites I watch a lot of tv on, I probably would have gotten rid of dish network. I still may do it.

Nice small package, hides well behind my LCD projection. Hooked up a webcam to skype on the tv. Kids watch all the cartoons they can handle on netflix. Hulu works well too. Why buy google tv when you can have something like this that'll do everything

The keyboard is a little small but that's expected. I wouldn't be caught dead writing an email on it but to type in a web address and bookmark it, its fine

Very small and works as it should

Using a few of these for conference rooms now. Mounted the IdeaCentre and a large flat screen to the wall. I mounted it right behind the flat screen and also ran all wiring through the wall so you do not see anything at all except the screen! Installed...

Very very small ; Built in WiFi ; Includes mounting bracket ; HDMI passes video & audio on a single cable as it should ; Streams Netflix great

none yet

Dissapointed with Video playback...

I am going to have to try and get a replacement and hope I just had a defect but by researching the web I dont think it will help. Too bad...never seen anything like this with the video skipping. My single core Asus Nettop can play the videso just fine...

Nice HTPC keyboard/mouse ; Boots fast ; Has a restore partition that restores the PC back to the original state in 7min ; Small

Video playback skips as others have said on this site...buyer beware. I tried all kinds of codec packages and never seen video skip before on any of my PCs. THis was using HDMI. Even the VGA connector skipped a bit though when panning during a scene. I...
