Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 review

A reasonably priced all-in-one with a 21.5in multitouch monitor and a triple-core CPU. It that enough to love the Lenovo?

A far from cutting-edge looker, but a fair compromise between size and performance for the price

This all-in-one PC doesn’t quite hit a hole in one The idea of an all-in-one computer, such as the Lenovo B305, is simple: it’s a PC that can be used by the whole family and takes up less ...

Lenovo IdeaCentre B305

The Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 gives you decent multimedia and some 3D performance in an attractive all-in-one desktop PC.

Compact all-in-one. Discrete 3D graphics. Multi-touch screen. 1080p HD panel. HDTV tuner. Wall mount.

Uses IR dongle for remote. Office 2007 Trial. No Blu-ray. Wireless keyboard and mouse optional. No HD inputs aside from Tuner. Tinny speakers.

Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 40311PU (Athlon II X4

Low-end gaming capability and strong HD video playback thanks to discrete graphics card.

Underfeatured for its price; slow general performance; no HDMI input.

Lenovo's 21.5-inch IdeaCentre B305 is a mainstream home entertainment all-in-one that can't quite overcome its small screen and underwhelming features. You might have interest in this system if you want a self-contained budget gaming PC, but it has...

Review: Lenovo Lenovo IdeaCentre B305

Is Lenovo's newest all-in-one PC powerful? Yes. Cheap? Mmm hmm. Easily portable? Oh my, no.

More than capable, with eyebrow-arching performance. Sophisticated design and a full passel of features. Even includes the TV remote

Touchscreen tech has taken its toll on screen brightness. No real touchscreen features built in. Concerns about tipping over (forward)

Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 VCF2MUK

Overall I have to say I love this thing, it's simple and a dream to use, the touch-screen is very responsive and it's capable of running the most complex of software and runs games surprisingly smooth for an all-in-one.

screen is a little too reflective in the sunlight so positioning has to be kept in mind. Other than that I haven't found any faults

Hard drive comes cluttered with the usual 'bloatware' trial software Not much in the way of useful programs given away with the system. Mouse and keyboard are a bit cheap and flimsy, but work OK. Touchscreen compensates to some extent. Fan can be a bit...
