Lenovo IdeaCentre B540

 

The Lenovo IdeaCentre B540 all-in-one PC is one of the less expensive ways to get a true Windows 8 experience with a large screen.

Touch screen. Nice price. No external power brick. Easy to service.

No DX11 due to older Intel HD Graphics 2000. Could use more tilt range. USB 3.0 ports in back. Only HDMI-out. No Blu-ray.

I really like the touch screen. As with all progressive systems, it takes a while to change or update your own user skills. Its still taking me a while.

I dont like the way apps are thrust at you whether or not you want them when watching dvds or catch up tv I can not adjust the brightness setting even though I have turned it up as high as it will go, it still looks as though the picture is shot in...

Nice design and easy to set up.

Windows 8 failed and I had to waste 6 hours rebuilding the user profile. Knowhow team were helpful but it was still down to me to do the rebuild. Very disappointing. I still have no idea as to why the app tiles vanished and user forums and knowhow did...
