Lenovo ThinkStation P300 SFF

The inexorable march of technology pays off for Lenovo with the ThinkStation P300 SFF, a workstation that does the work of a system that usually costs twice as much.

Xeon CPU and Quadro graphics for the same price as a midrange PC. Easy-to-service chassis. Lots of I/O ports. Excellent price.

Half-height PCIe slots.

The Lenovo ThinkStation P300 SFF exceeds the needs of professional users for an inexpensive ISV-certified workstation. It matches the positioning and pricing of the previous Editors' Choice Lenovo ThinkStation E32 SFF, with an incrementally upgraded...

Individual under-the-desk workstations are an integral part of modern society. Normally a work PC is either thought-limited or throughput-limited, but depending on the type of business and financials of that business, something in the middle might be...

Great machine for the price. Very happy with performance and build.

I did ask for a CD/DVD. This arrived 3 days after the machine and I had to install it. I would have expected this to be done at the factory when I specified the machine.

Quiet

Poor expansion capability so reason for return. Poor sales advice Appalling reaction to communication so that product took weeks to get to me for rejection by me. Failures in identifying correct product for purchase in sales

So quiet, especially considering its computing power.

Nothing so far.

Lenovo ThinkStation P300 Tower

Extremely quiet Large number of USB 3 ports

Adding a second internal disk was tricky as the power cables don't easily reach into the second drive bay.
