MSI MBOX K9A2GM-F AMD Phenom / Athlon 64 X2 / Sempron AMD Socket AM2+ / AM2 AMD 740G ATI Radeon 2100 Barebone

A motherboard should last a lot longer than this.

Good while it lasted

I suggest another brand. This mobo failed a powerup recently

Disafrigginpointed

Have been using MSI boards exclusively for years for self and system builds for others. Last two boards for self have tatered on me, this particular one after a little over a year. Tried to RMA to MSI but manufacture date exceeds limits of warranty....

It worked for a year

Good Product for Price

MSI needs to train there employees better.

It would be hard to beat this product for what you get and the price you pay

The power button would reset the system and the reset would turn it on and off. It was a easy fix by just taking off the front cover an switching the buttons around. I seen that mine was not the only case like this so plan on fixing that if you buy...

Not bad

It works, it's not a plastic piece of garbage, the buttons don't stick and aren't hard to press, all in all, it makes mom happy.

This unit is pretty cheap and it comes with a power supply AND a 120mm back case fan that isn't incredibly loud, the power supply ACTUALLY worked when I received it though I had bought a quad core processor and needed a higher end model i found out. It...

One simple problem my unit had was the power button and the reset button were in the opposite slot, so the big power button would reset and the hidden reset button would start it.... needless to say this really aggravated me when I knew my power supply...

NIC died

I'll probably stick with Asus from now on.

Inexpensive and attractive-looking system

The built-in network adapter died within 24 hours

Stay away from this!

Once I put in the new PS it booted right up so the mainboard was alright. If I hadn't been in a hurry to get this done before Christmas I would have RMA'd it. Piece of garbage, stay away from anything MSI!

Cheap

Came without any manual, driver discs, power cord or cables. Looked like it had been returned. Power supply was dead, I had to go to Best Buy and buy a cheap 400W PS. Came with a small dent/scratch on the side cover. Had to go to the MSI website and...

odd problem

Works as it should with one exception (see cons)

Very odd problem. Assembled easily but showed no signs of life whatsoever: no post, no lights, no fan motion on power supply. Then I hit the front panel reset button, and the system promptly started and POSTed ; I figured it was a bad power switch, but...
