Great barebones kit!

This is just what I needed. I built a new PC with this, a 8600gt, 2 gigs of ram, DVD burner with light scribe and a 160 gig hard drive. Works pretty good so far. The case is light and it has great ventilation

works well

I bought this for my dad's business over half a year ago mainly for light internet use and it has been great. There has been no issues with the mobo and the case does what it is meant to do

I didn't spend much time on it after setting it up and checking up on it once in a while so i'd have to say: none

Awesome value!

Fast, simple, easy, uncomplicated

Case is noisy and rattles until you fill up the bays

Great everyday system...

Built this up with a 5000 X2 chip, 2 gigs of Kingston DDR2 800, Samsung DVD writer, WD 320GB SE16, MSI 8600 GT/ OC w/ 256 MB and Vantec card reader. (Oh, and Arctic Cooling fans.) Rock solid WS, esp. w/ XP Pro SP2 on it. Bought it last year to replace...

Decent -looking case. Fairly roomy inside due to mATX MB. Got mine on sale (>95 bucks).Quiet w/ the right fans. Have had and run for over a year w/ no problems so far

Not SLI- capable MB. No included card reader. Has side panel vents (that don't quite line up with CPU). Case has kinda flimsy feel to it. Rear fan mesh needs bigger holes/ better air flow

loved this bone

overall a very good buy, one of the best bangs for the money and i always trusted msi for motherboards the power source in this bb has huge fan and is quiet (nearly silent)

easy to assemble, roomy and most of all it looks cool. so much can be donne with this barebone plenty of 2.5" drive space drivers for vista and xp

front jacks/usb access door feels a litle flimsy but seems to stay in place 2 months after assembly. installing audio driver in xp platform can be a slight pain and only cpu and one more fan headder

Power Supply failed

Notwithstanding the power supply problem, this is a decent economical box

The power supply crapped out almost immediately

Solid Barebone

Other than that, you're getting what you pay for. It's certainly not top of the line, but it'll get the job done as a good budget pc. Throwing in a separate sound card (onboard sound bogs down with most 3d games) and a better video card (along with 2...

Firstly, I've had this barebone for just under a year now, and overall am happy with it ; The pros are price, performance (for the most part), and price ; I've been happy with MSI products in the past, and this one is no different

Some of the physical set up is a bit irritating. The one IDE slot means that if you're not using a SATA hdd, and you want your CD/DVD drive in the top slot, then you'll have to have some sort of 5 1/4" to 3 1/2" adapter to put the hard drive under the...

Runs XP-SP2 very fast as is...

Like I said, runs XP-SP2 stable and fast with 2GB RAM. Before attempting Vista, consider flashing the BIOS, using 4GB RAM, a solid MSI PCIx video card (I'm using the MSI NX8600GT-T2D256EZ). Vista loads and runs as fast as XP.

Stock MB runs well with XP-SP2. Have built a half-dozen solid and stable systems from this barebone setup. Lots of room for air flow

Case is flimsy and fit/finish is rough (to be expected at this price point). Case is roomy enough for an ATX MB with lots of slots, bells and whistles but only comes with a micro-ATX board. BIOS needs flash upgrade to recognize 4GB RAM. Shared video...

Very good for the price

Power supply did not work when I get it. Newegg replaces the it with no questions.

The case is a good size with good air flow. The mother board will support all of the basic computer need so if you are OK with a computer that is not the latest and greatest this will work. The onboard video card is very basic but it will work until I...

The motherboard comes with 1 IDE slot which can be a problem if you are trying to reuse old parts

Good Upgrade

Bought this barebones system to upgrade my wife's computer. It runs her CSI games fine and sped her system up conciderably over her old Athalon XP 2000 system. And as usual New Egg was perfect with their delivery.

Easy setup, built in video, quick processor
