Consumer review (newegg.com)

Greatest PC I ever owned

Made it through 6 years, 5 OS, 2 processors, and multiple memory/hard drive swap outs. If the LGA 775 socket wasn't so outdated, this would be the ultimate machine in my collection.

Went from a hackintosh to a gaming pc to an htpc then back to a gaming pc and now proudly sits as an HTPC with linux and only 1 gig of ram in it.

None!

Was great, now a paper weight

Still miss the old bargain bin shuttle boxes. They don't make them like they used to.

Started as an HTPC and then made it to an entry level gaming before the capacitors blew. Had 4 gig or ram, could fit any single slot PCI Express card, and had enough usb ports for its time.

Capacitors blew after 3 years.... Not very durable

Shuttle SD30G2 Plus

Package was opened with a dent on the top of the case. The package should have been put into another box and taped closed. Newegg is better than how they shipped this product! I should not have to pay for shipping or 15% re-stocking since this product...

Nice style Great compact size.

Video does not work with on-line Netflix. Audio does not work at all. Does not seem to handle the E7200 CPU ( latest BIOS loaded )

Compact, sturdy, solid construction and absolutely dependable. I got this unit to replace a sub-par HP 1810y, which just ran slower and slower. Same configuration on this machine and it never misses a beat. My wife uses it as her primary machine....

I've heard the PS doesn't last. Hasn't been a problem yet ; Not a lot of room in the case, but enough for an average build

Awesome

This is a great starter kit for basically anyone. I have an 4850 in here, 4GB of DDR2 800 RAM, and a 4GHz Processor! What more could you need!!!

Ubuntu And Vista Run GREAT. The onboard graphics support Ubuntu's Desktop Effects and Vista Aero. Supports 4GB Ram, Overclocks a E7200 to 4GHz

Q6600 Won't work

Nice

Very compact, easily understood instructions. Does what it is supposed to do.

Only one IDE connection, and I missed that in the description. I ended up having to swap my hard drive for a SATA drive so I could connect my DVD drive as well.

Nice

For those wanting a N draft solution for a linux desktop, this is it. This has a Ralink RT2860 chip in it, ralink's site has linux drivers there. For xp/vista users, download the drivers, because they do not exist on the driver disc(no I'm not...

Great box

All in all an relatively easy and quick build. Will definately think Shuttle next time someone needs a computer in the family.

Excellent case with good cable management. Easy enough to add features exept for trying to get the removable bay back after everything else is in

Small, but that's the major pro. Get's hot if you add something like the 9600 GT. Might have to add some additional holes on the side for vents
