not all that bad

The day my 1500 dollar computer crashed (~4 yrs old), I had to find a cheap solution, and this was it. 3.2ghz p4 800mhz fsb, 1.5g DDR400 ram, 16x DL DvD burner, DVD burner, tv tuner card etc. I can use the same processor, gfx and tv tuner card, hdds,...

Make sure you turn down the system fan in bios, if you don't this thing sounds like a 747 taking off when you power it on. When installing XP, sve yourself hours of trouble by making the SATA controller emulate an IDE bus.

Very Small, and the fan is quiet (after turning it down to "LOW" in bios). It's cheap, but looks very professional. I plan on buying a few more of these very soon. Includes motherboard and power supply as well as front USB and audio ports. For the...

Space is a little tight inside, but I guess that's expected due to its size

Overall, at $100 it's a great value! Good-looking compact case, power supply, & a motherboard.

I'm running this with a Core2Duo E4300 1.8GHZ, 2GB RAM, BFG Geforce 7900 GS OC, & Vista Basic. The system runs great! My Windows Experience Index score is 4.2 though limited by the ram, since the MB does not run at PC-6400 speed. The fans can be...

NO support for dual channel memory. My roommate's windows experience index score for memory went up from 4.2 to 4.9 by switching! He has a diff mb though ; NO spare 4-pin USB power ports. I tried plugging in a Flash Card Reader , but it was 4-pin. The...

Great PC 4 the money

I've built two of these Shuttles for friends who needed an affordable system for email and internet browsing. I usually build top of the line gaming computers for my customers but, these Shuttles are great budget computers. These other clowns knocking...

Easy to get up and running, super price. I built the whole system for under three hundred dollars and put one gig of ddr in it

Alright barebone

I was looking to turn a this barebone into an above average pc. The small space killed that. The money I spent buying new cables, power supply, fans, etc.. I should've bought a different barebone or case and mobo seperately. My setup is pentium d 3.4...

Small size is nice for looks. It's a nice sleek looking barebone. Motherboard is alright for, like it says business type or low end home computer. Awesome barebone if that's what you're looking for

Small space to work with. It's a pretty cheap case. I know I could have done better buying a case and motherboard seperate. Too small for me. I made a mistake buying this barebone. Only has two molex power connectors on power supply. Sata cables are...

Impressive Shuttle barebone

Very small and quite. Pretty ; I don't have any problem with this barebone. Perfect to my desk ; I love this

There is no button for the cd rom door close ; The button one the case is for opening ; When you close door you need to push the cd slot with your finger

So far, so good

When you put the rear fan on a speed slow enough to be quiet, it trips the thermal alarm. So it's louder than I would prefer, and may get a different fan that moves air quietly. No smart fan settings like the SFF shuttle systems either. :-(

Small but expandable with two 5.25" bays, room for two 3.5" devices. System is really quiet on idle. Hidden drives

Shuttle doesn't tell you to remove the drive tray door, but you should . In one pic, you see door, next you don't. Nothing is pointed out, but when I did this it stopped massacring the spring and making it fit loose. Board flexed a lot when seating...

Incredible barebone with a few quirks...

The drive doors on the bezel are NOT REMOVABLE!!! Thus, you need to be careful about how the optical drive you are buying is designed. Also the cable management in the case can be a bit cramped so be careful about how you route wires.

Great styling, quality construction *possibly not the best on drive doors*, quiet, easily removable bezel, and cool running

Shuttle XPC SS31T Intel Pentium D/Pentium 4/CeleronD Intel Socket T(LGA775) SiS 662 SiS Mirage 2 NanoBTX Form Factor Barebone

too cheap of a system at less than $xxx for case, mobo and power supp. it can't be that good. Built other Shuttle boxes without experiencing any problems.

Small case that can fit two burners ; Excellent RMA and re-ship service by newegg. Helpful and understandings reps

built two of these ; first one was DOA, second one failed after 30 seconds of use
