Thermaltake Overseer RX-I Review

Let's take a look at the latest full-tower case from Thermaltake, the Overseer RX-I, which has eight expansion slots and comes with an external 3.5“/2.5“ docking bay.

Good construction quality ; Air filter for the power supply, front, bottom, and side fans ; Vented slot covers ; Eight expansion slots ; Expansion cards are fastened with thumbscrews ; External 3.5”/2.5” docking bay ; Anti-vibration mechanisms for 3.5”...

No fan speed controllers ; Could have a button to turn off the LEDs of the fans ; Could be a little bit cheaper

Easy to Use

I found this case to be very user friendly, All of the drive bays have excellent accessibility. The main board was easy to mount and connect to the case. I have had it in service for about a month with no problems.

Great Case

This case is huge. Good airflow, solid cable runs, and nice hard drive slots. The external SATA port comes in handy for mining old hard drives. Would recommend to anyone.

Overall pretty good case. Side Panel(s) are a little tight. Watch the 5.25 covers. Catch pins will break in a heart beat For the most part a pretty good case for the money and free shipping

Loving it

I love the blue LED lights for the top and front fan. It's keeping my computer cool and that's what I need. Very spacious and well organized slide in hard drive slots.

Couldn't be more happier with this case! My first build is a complete success! The top-based USB, eSata and headphone jack design is truly convenient, instead of having to reach down and guess which way the flash drive goes. If you're gonna get a case...

High Quality, Well Engineered

I never knew what I was missing until I stepped into a case of this level. It has some well thought out engineering features and lots of room. Very happy to have it.
