IBM Thinkcentre A50P P4 2.80ghz, 256mb, 120gb, Cd-rw/dvd-rom Combination, WXP Home, 10/100 Ethernet, 128mbati Radeon 9600 Desktop

The ThinkCentre A50p is the first system we've seen with IBM's new ThinkCentre styling, including a utilitarian black case raked toward the back and a handle grip at the top front to make it easier to move from desk to desk. It's approximately the size...

IBM's documentation assumes some familiarity with PC technology. We found less hand-holding information than we've seen in other manuals, but this manual matches the PC well

IBM ThinkCentre A50p

The IBM ThinkCentre A50p is all business. Granted, this system is not the fastest among the Pentium 4-powered small business systems we profiled, and it was the only one that lacked Intel's Hyper-Threading (HT) technology. But the IBM's performance is...

Good price. Access IBM button makes self-servicing the system a snap, and IBM's Rapid Restore Ultra is great for those "uh-oh" moments. USB hub on multifunction keyboard is convenient, and FireWire is a welcome addition

CRT monitor, not LCD. But non-Hyper-Threading Pentium 4, integrated (though upgradable) graphics, and DDR333 memory hold back performance

Good computer but a few issues

The computer is fine but I only received 256 RAM instead of the advertised 512. If you get a Windows disc you can pretty much throw it away. It's sold with no OS so you wont be getting a cd key for the disc.
