Fluid video playback, Small, attractive design, Lots of I/O ports, including USB 3.0, Support for dual display output, Low power draw, Quiet under load

Slow hard drive (in Plus model), Limited graphics performance, Price doesn't include OS

The Zbox ID83 Plus has the network connectivity and I/O ports users crave today, and we’re glad to see USB 3.0 finally appearing in mini-PCs. If you can be happy within the limitations of Intel’s HD Graphics 4000, then the Third-Generation Core i3...

Zotac Zbox ID83 Barebone

I think it is worth it. This is my second unit and it works faultlessly. Highly recommended of space is an issue. Stick in a Samsung 840 SSD and 16GB of RAM and this system performs very well for my needs.

Still a high cost, but good space saving.

Zotac Zbox ID83 Barebone

Small, fast, quiet. In the end I have a completely customised PC with a fairly up-to-date motherboard for reasonable price.

Even at a discounted price around £230 this is not exactly a bargain as it lacks a Drive, RAM and OS, but it is easy to set-up, even though I managed to locate the SSD in the slot without it making contact the first time around and the casing top is...

Very easy to open to install the parts not too noisy bundled remote

Driver software is on CD - but the unit doesn't have a CD player. A USB stick or memory card would be much better can't boot from SD card for some reason

Good build quality (better than the Revo) Runs near silent unless pushed hard Great as an htpc Easy to install ssd and ram Hd4000 graphics Cold to desktop in under 10 seconds (win 8 x64), best I've ever seen Analog audio Good selection of ports...

not as dinky as the Intel nuc, but cheaper and better in nearly every other respect) Ivy bridge, not Haswell Had an incompatibility with my LG 37" telly over hdmi. Sometimes the picture was just snow. Fairly sure it was just the telly since its old and...

Easy to configure, very quiet, looks very cool.

Need a bit of know-how to get it setup since it hasn't got an optical drive and comes without an OS.

Made the Mistake of buying 24 of these

Small form factor, I3 processor, relatively low price

COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. I've had 4 fail in 6 months.... fail as in need to be RMA'd. A 15% failure rate in 6 months is the highest i've seen of anything, ever. They'll randomly go "red" and not boot. Noting this as one of the biggest mistakes in my IT...

No complaints so far

I'm an IT tech for a label-making company, and I've been using these for our plant, and now even customer service. I just slap a 4gb stick of memory and a 64gb ssd in one of these and load an image. It takes a little under an hour to fully deploy one...

Small size, easily mounted to walls, monitors, etc... quite fast, easy to assemble, light, basically everything I need in a desktop computer

It's a bit flimsy/plastic

Great Budget Media Server

For the price, you cant beat it. Handles everything I throw at it.

I have this hooked up to a 60'' TV via HDMI. I have 8GB RAM and a 7200 1TB internal laptop hard drive installed ; I can't tell you boot times, since I never turn it off. But it plays 1080 youtube on all browsers with no lag at all. 1080p movies though...

I have a logitec wireless keyboard/touchpad combo and it sometimes causes the mouse to lag. I tried using different USB ports, updating the drivers, changing the batteries, and nothing seems to work. It didnt do this on my old media server which was in...
