The EOS 20D is dead - long live the 30D!

Excellent build quality ; Excellent exposure, contrast and colour rendition ; Very good autofocus and exposure systems

Fine detail rendition soemtimes disappointing

Canon EOS-30D

 

Canon's 8.2Mp EOS-30D is a follow-up to the 20D in essence, it's a 20D Mark 2, sporting few improvements. But the 20D was an excellent camera, of course.

The EOS-30D offers pro handling and excellent quality. It's a great step-up from entry-level digital SLRs, but only a modest upgrade from the EOS-20D.

New Spot metering cannot be tied to focus point.New Print/Share button should have been customizable.Design of power switch still requires the use of both hands.
