Lacking in feature this is an average compact camera that is small in size and produces mediocre images.

The A3100 IS is a budget camera so unfortunately everything on it is what you would expect it to be- budget. However for the price it would be hard to find something better on the market.

This basic point and shoot camera, the Canon PowerShot A3100 IS offers good performance at affordable price.

Good color reproduction ; Quick to focus in good lights ; Efficient Optical IS ; Compact design

Average low light performance ; Noise presence and loss of details above ISO 200 ; Standard video resolution ; Buttons feel a bit cheap

A simple point and shoot camera that does not offer much in terms of features, but it shoots good quality images and this makes it one the better choices among many basic point and shoots available in the market.
