Canon PowerShot A530

This is a 5mega pixel offering with 4x optical zoom. It comes in a small two tone grey/silver housing in fact it will easily fit in a pocket or purse.

Canon A530 It is 9x6x4cm maximum and weights less than 200grams with the two 'AA' inserted. I was rather surprised to find what looks to be a quality offering with standard 'AA' batteries. While on disappointments the 16MB MMC card is there as well, I...

Canon Powershot A530

The Canon Powershot A530 comes in at the lower end of the market in terms of price. Even so it is capable of taking a very good photo. If you are on a limited budget this one is well worth a closer look.

Picture quality ; Value for money

Shutter lag ; Red eye

The Canon Powershot A530 is a great value for money digital camera. It is available at a very reasonable price indeed. Photos are good both indoors and outside. There is also a manual mode. Although not perfect I am happy to recommend this camera.

Canon Powershot A530

If you've looked over our previous Canon camera reviews such as that of the much lauded <a href=http://www.goodgearguide.com.au/index.php/taxid;213621...

Fairly good images, Cheap, Lots of features

No exposure compensation in most modes, AA batteries

A nice, cheap advanced 5 megapixel model. It doesn't have the best image quality in the world, but at this price it is a decent buy.
