Canon IXUS 210 digital camera - First Look

Canon 's latest IXUS model, the Canon IXUS 210 brings with it a 14.1-megapixel sensor and a range of new in-camera features, but can the new compact camera impress? We got hands-on with the new model at the London press launch. The IXUS 210 looks on...

22 scene modes, small, touchscreen

Lots of features you probably won't need

Canon Powershot SD3500 review

Canon's PowerShot SD3500 IS is sort of a follow-up to 2009's SD980 IS in that it has a touch-screen LCD and features the same ultrawide-angle 24mm-equivalent lens with a 5x zoom. This time around, though, the resolution's been bumped up to 14...

Nice design; large touch-screen LCD; Eye-Fi memory card support.

Slow shooting performance.

The Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS offers up decent photos, touch-screen controls, and an ultrawide-angle lens, but that's pretty much where the excitement ends.

Canon IXUS 210 IS review

The Canon IXUS 210 IS Touch is incredibly lightweight and has a frosted metal finish (black, silver and pink models are available). The entire back of the camera is a 3.5in capacitive touch screen. Its predecessor, the Canon IXUS 200, used standard...

If you're in the market for a feature-rich camera that takes great video, then check out the Canon IXUS 210 IS Touch. You can pick up the IXUS 210 IS Touch digital camera for under £300 at a number of shops, which we think is a bargain.

Canon IXUS 210 review

Despite my anxieties about the touchscreen, the Canon IXUS 210 performed well.It is slower to use than a model with conventional buttons, but given the point-and-shoot nature of compact cameras, most people won't change the settings from one shot to...

Canon IXUS 210 Review

Canon IXUS 210 offers plenty of style, with a super-wide 3.5in LCD and a maximum video resolution of 720p. But how does it compare with other wideangle zoom compacts? The Canon IXUS 210 review...

Screen, wideangle lens, focus touch and tracking functionality

Mixed image quality, slight issues with responsiveness

The Canon IXUS 210 exudes style and the combination of its wide lens and LCD screen makes for a cracking user experience, but the touchscreen can be unresponsive at time and overall image quality is only satisfactory.

Canon Ixus 210

Review Canon Ixus 210 Canon's first touchscreen compact, the Digital Ixus 200 IS [1] was a disappointing offering, not helped by Canon providing both touchscreen operation and standard button control.

Canon has really embraced touchscreen technology this time and it shows. The Ixus 210 is a very easy camera to operate and is ideal for the point-and-shoot enthusiast who is glad to see the back of the usual cluster of navigation buttons. ®

Canon IXUS 210

Review Canon IXUS 210 - Canon takes touchscreen compacts to the next level with its latest offering.

A well made and remarkably easy to use digital compact. Expensive for what it offers, though, and image quality is disappointing. A reasonable camera but lacking the cool Ixus styling of old.

Canon Ixus 210

Canons Ixus 210 is the follow-up to the Japanese companys first foray into touch-screens - last year's Ixus 200. The 210 feels like a mature product and while it's not only stylish, its touch-screen functionality is fantastic.

Good playback, touchscreen makes navigation easy, cool miniature effect.

Not all of the screen is used for regular display, top buttons difficult to distinguish in a hurry, lens speed a bit slow.

Canon IXUS 210

There is a lot to like about the IXUS 210. It has a large 3.5 inch touch controlled LCD screen and it is also capable of shooting High Definition movies. Picture quality is good and the large text used in the menu system makes the camera easy to use.

Ease of use - style - touch control

Shutter delay with flash

Canon IXUS 210 IS Touch

The Canon IXUS 210 IS Touch is one of the best and most intuitive to use compact digital cameras on the market at the moment. It's for those who want ...

Amazing image quality, lots of features and scene modes

Fish eye mode is horrible

The Canon IXUS 210 IS Touch is one of the best point and shoot compact cameras currently on the market, and it's cheap too!
