Canon PowerShot SX240HS

While a few may still be wowed by huge MegaPixel, most now know it's the quality of the CMOS that gives quality of image, here you get a perfectly respectable 12.1MP and an excellent 20x optical zoom in a small form factor.

It is 10.5x6x3.5cm and weights 220grams. When on the lens can extend by up to another 5cm fully zoomed out. Mine was silver grey but it is also available in black or pink. The left side is clear, the right side has anchor point for the supplied wrist...

Canon PowerShot SX240 HS Review

The Canon PowerShot SX240 HS camera is a new travel-zoom camera that replaces the SX230 HS model. There's a longer 20x, 25-500mm optical zoom lens with a built-in 4-stop image stabilizer and Intelligent IS technology, 12.1 megapixel back-illuminated...

This camera is provided with a unique feature, which allows you capture last four seconds of action before each shot is taken and combine those into a single movie with its Movie Digest feature

All in all, SX240 HS is a great camera, which allows you to take typical shots even in low light situations with much clarity and less noise. So, this is the camera that can beautifully capture your cherished moments with great clarity and details.

Canon SX240 HS / SX260 HS

The Canon PowerShot SX240 HS has had some catching up to do. Last year's SX220/230HS retained the same 14x lens as its predecessor, but with a brand new 20x optical zoom the new SX240 HS is now on a par with competitors like the Panasonic Lumix ZS20 /...

Broad 20x stabilised zoom in slim body., 10fps fast full resolution burst mode., Improved stabilisation., Great image quality

No customisation options or presets., Wobbling movie artifacts at full zoom., Fiddly / noisy dual speed zoom., Modest 5cm close focus
