Casio Exilim EX-S770

Cliff champions a 7.2 megapixel beauty from one of the more neglected camera brands.

Apart from the wide-angle distortion and the CD manual I have nothing but praise for the S770. In my opinion it is currently the best ultra-compact digital camera on the market. Considering build quality, design, performance, value for money and...

Casio Exilim Card EX-S770 digital camera

The S770 is the camera equivalent of a catwalk model, thinner than perhaps you might think normal, but stunning looking nevertheless particularly in the right outfit. And the S770 comes with three liveries: red, silver (tested here) and blue, so you've...

Slim design and build, ultra-compact, anti-shake mode with high sensitivity setting, 32 automated snapping modes

Close focus distance, barrel distortion at wide-angle end of lens, intrusive noise at ISO 200 and above

Stylish, very very compact, well built and packed with great features, the lack of more manual control might make some look elsewhere and the problems with noise and detail have dropped it a couple of points.

Casio Exilim Card EX-S770

It's not perfect, but the easy-to-use Casio S770 is one of our most favourite Exilims to date, only really falling down when it comes to that familiar Casio bugbear of light sensitivity (or rather its insentivity to light!

James Bond-like design ethic that means it slots easily into the tightest of pockets, quality metal build means it’ll withstand a few knocks in the heat of the action, user friendly menu layout allows quick implementation of key functions, sharp and...

Image noise is a real problem above ISO400, meaning we’d recommend sticking to ISO 200 or below, no removable media supplied with the camera, though this is increasingly common

Exilim EX-S770

The Casio Exilim EX-S770 is a 7.2-megapixel addition to the company's series of ultra-slim cameras. The svelte, stylish body comes at a cost, though, as the camera lacks many of the manual controls you'll find on similar models.

High-quality full auto images. Great looks.

Few manual controls. Small buttons. Poor light sensitivity.

This small camera produces photos with impressive image quality. In particular, the EX-S770 excelled at taking shots with low distortion and sharp details

Casio - Exilim EX-S770

Casio is perhaps one of the first names you'd think of when looking for a compact digicam; its Exilim range has in the past achieved rave reviews for an effective combination of quality and usability. The ...

The Exilim EX-S770 should appeal to the market it's probably intended for, the semi-casual photographer who wants a slim, compact camera to carry around that'll get decent results with a minimum of fuss, and in this respect it performs admirably.

Casio Exilim EX-S770

Digital cameras don't come much slimmer than the Casio Exilim EX-S770. You should have no problem slipping this seven megapixel camera into a pocket. It comes with a cradle. This is used to recharge the battery and connect the camera to a television,...

Super slim size ; Movie functions

Very small internal memory ; Picture quality in lowlight

"Through its extra slim shape and movie features the Casio Exilim EX-S770 offers something different to other digital cameras. Photo quality is fair without ready hitting the heights, but if you are set on buying a truly small camera then this is an...

Casio Exilim Card EX S770

If the ultimate in portable photography is your bag then you need look no further than this 7.2-megapixel Casio cracker. Just 13.7mm thin, the S770 has a tough, all-metal build, responsive handling and, despite it?s small size, a busload of...

Start up is fast, but the camera?s responsiveness does not end there, shutter lag (or rather the lack of it) is just one-hundreth of a second so there?s no excuse in missing a shot an thanks to the camera?s high resolution 7.2-megapixel sensor it is...
